It may be Show Day tomorrow, but DaSH will still be on Friday. And really, what more motivation do you need to come to work and avoid an interminable four day long-weekend. And to make it even more exciting, this week we will have Simon Wotherspoon (variously from AAD or IMAS) following up on some queries that arose out of Alain Zuur’s course that he gave in August (see http://www.highstat.com/staff.htm for an overview of Alain and his work).
ALSO: Next week Mike Sumner and I will be running a hands on demonstration of how to use NetCDF and other spatial datasets using packages such as R and Matlab. It will be aimed at students and others who have had no, or little, experience with netCDF.
