DaSH Session for April 17

Hi DaSHers,
This week DaSH is going dumb: I will be giving a talk titled “Dumb things with data”. If you want to learn from my (and others) mistakes in order to data analysis techniques, or you just want to laugh at out collective foolishness, then come along. I will be giving examples of how easily data analysis can go wrong if you are not paying attention and how, sometimes, completely unreasonable manipulations can lead to completely reasonable (but wrong) results.

Even better, this session has a theme song. Check it out below…

ALSO: Lots of things coming up in the next few weeks. There has been a request for a session giving an intro to Fortran, another one on netCDF operators and Tom and Mike are keen to do a Software Carpentry workshop. Stay tuned for further details.
